5.1 General rules for uploading images
Our image editors are required by law to accept images only if they comply with international copyright regulations. You, the photographer and copyright holder of an image, have rights but, at the same time, also certain responsibilities when you sell images. Following overview shall assist you to learn the essential copyright regulations. We have put together a strict set of rules in order to avoid legal conflicts. Please follow these rules at all costs.

The following images are prohibited on panthermedia.net:
- Imges that you did not take
- An image of another image
- An image that you found somewhere else (on the Internet, in a third parties photo album or in a book)
- Images from other image archives / stock images agencies
- Modified images that were originally taken by other photographers, and for which you do not have their written permission to modify the images
- Images with pornographic, racist or defamatory content
- Images that violate any of the legal regulations listed in the other sections of this site
